The South African Portuguese Youth Federation is catching momentum just after four very succesful meetings.

The Federation invited several Portuguese Youth Societies from all over Gauteng (aiming for nationwide eventually) to form and become representatives of the Federation.

Y.A.P.S has been granted three executive positions within the Federation and have been appointed to represent the Social Responsibilty Portfolio. Our responsibilities, some of which, will be to run with special projects as well as provide feedback on our projects to the Federation.

The Federation's aim is to become a well respected representative of the South African Portuguese Youth where all SA Portuguese Youth will be able to confidently lodge all their concerns and opinions to the Federation to ensure their voice is heard and taken up to higher levels of the Portuguese government.

I will be posting all minutes and meeting agendas from January 2010 tfor interested memebrs to track the progress.
